Bonafida Studio is an independent creative studio creating original artwork and distinctive visual experiences for artists, brands and interiors.
Founded in 2022 in the Netherlands, the studio brings together contemporary art, custom visual design and selected creative collaborations.
Our story
From artwork to creative studio.
Bonafida Studio was founded in 2022 by Dirk Roza, whose creative background reaches back much further. Growing up with graffiti and later studying digital photography at an art academy shaped a lasting interest in composition, atmosphere, visual culture and the way imagery can transform its surroundings.
What started as a personal exploration of digital artwork gradually developed into curated collections, creative collaborations and commissioned work for artists and brands.
Since its founding, Bonafida Studio has worked with artists and creatives from the Netherlands, Brazil, France, Germany and the United States.
Along the way, Bonafida Studio evolved from creating standalone images into developing broader visual directions across music, editorial, campaigns and physical spaces.
Today, the studio brings together contemporary art and custom visual work under one creative direction: creating imagery with character, atmosphere and a recognizable point of view.

Our approach

Bonafida Studio has a recognizable visual language, and that is often where a collaboration begins. Each project builds on that aesthetic while responding to the identity, atmosphere and purpose of the client.
The aim is not to repeat a formula, but to create something that feels unmistakably connected to Bonafida Studio while belonging naturally to the project it was created for.

Bonafida Studio is founded and creatively directed by Dirk Roza, with a background in graffiti and digital photography that continues to influence the studio’s visual language today.
The studio works independently while collaborating with designers, artists and other creatives. This flexible approach keeps the creative direction consistent while allowing projects to grow beyond a single discipline.
At the centre of the studio is a simple principle: create work with enough character to be recognised, but enough flexibility to belong naturally to the people, projects and spaces it is made for.
